Rich Dad Poor Dad

From last three months, I am mostly in Pune on a project assignment. Given the complexities of business situation, I hardly get any time to catch up with my reading. So it took long to read Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. I am happy I read the book.

What makes Rich people different? How they teach their kids? What's like an Asset and Liability side management for middle class? How to take advantage of taxes in your benefit? How can one force oneself to earn more? What are the golden rules to become rich?

Lots of interesting example though like most investment books I have read, this one too is written in a US scenario. But the essence is equally relevant everywhere. I particularly like Authors way of explaining 'Rat Race' and how can one brake it. The only thing I kind of disliked is Author tends to repeat his key message and sometimes it becomes boring. For example, 'Rat Race' description of 'Get up, go to work, pay bill etc.' is mentioned several times in the book.

The book gives a perspective of how one can look at his / her financial affairs and improve financial health. It seems that Author has, interalia, successfully leveraged his dealings in Real Estate to build wealth. Though he is far from saying that Real Estate investment is only / the fastest way of making wealth.
